# Project Description Hiļ¼BAD MOOD Zizhen Fang Summary Final work College School of Pre-Degree Studies Course Level 3: International Introduction to the Study of Design, Media and Screen Graduation year 2025 My project aims to depict stories of coping with negative emotions. My target audience includes adults and teenagers who struggle with feelings of loneliness, anxiety, anger, stress, and other negative emotions. To address the question of how to deal with the arrival of these negative emotions, I have chosen to use handmade picture books as the medium of expression. I have created the concept of the "Emotion Figure," where the protagonist communicates with these figures to narrate the story, demonstrating various stages from rejecting negative emotions to acceptance, ultimately forming a new self. Inspiration In our daily lives, more and more people do not cope with and vent their stress and emotions properly when they arise. Negative emotions have a significant impact on a person's thinking, behavior, and physical health. Furthermore, when I browse videos or articles online, I often come across many people asking for help or expressing their helplessness when faced with overwhelming emotions. I can empathize with their feelings because I, too, used to experience breakdowns and anxiety when dealing with intense emotional stress. However, I have now found my own ways to overcome these challenges, and I want to assist others in recognizing negative emotions when they arise and learning how to genuinely cope with them.
