Zihan Liu

This installation uses ceramic scissors and braided human hair as symbols of power and discipline, exploring how control and restraint are woven into the fabric of the body and daily life. Through a combination of photographic and embroidered interpretive imagery, the work tells a story of surveillance, discipline, and resistance, revealing the subtle operations of power within personal and collective spaces.
