College London College of Fashion Course BA (Hons) Fashion Sportswear Graduation year 2025 This project investigates the intersection of apocalypse survival, emergency readiness, and military innovation through a design-led approach. In a world increasingly shaped by environmental crises, conflict, and societal instability, the project responds with a collection of functional garments and gear inspired by military-grade protection and tactical efficiency. Drawing from the aesthetics and structure of combat uniforms and survivalist equipment, the designs are adapted for civilian use in extreme urban and environmental conditions. Each piece integrates waterproofing, and rapid-access features, reflecting the urgency and unpredictability of apocalyptic scenarios. The project also explores how uniformity and symbolism in military attire influence perceptions of power, identity, and preparedness. Fusing utility with dystopian style, the work aims to equip individuals for uncertain futures while critically engaging with the politics of survival.
