Zhixi Zheng is a hair and makeup artist, nail technician, and craft maker with a passion for creativity and self-expression. She specialises in using wigs as a medium for art, transforming them into sculptural pieces that explore texture, colour, and form. She aims to break away from traditional beauty standards by combining skill and creativity to create impactful, expressive art. Through makeup and hair, she wants to convey her attitude through her work.

“Yawn” uses the act of yawning to symbolize the fatigue and conformity of Chinese‐style education. Inspired by Persona 5 ’s rebellious characters, its punk portraits and sticker‐sheet collages depict students breaking free from rote learning and societal pressure. Vivid hair, fierce expressions, and subversive doodles capture both the frustration of stifled creativity and the thrill of self-liberation.
