Zhuang Zhou dreamed that he had become a butterfly, and he was completely immersed in the world of being a butterfly. When he woke up, he was confused - did Zhuang Zhou dream that he had become a butterfly, or did the butterfly dream that he had become Zhuang Zhou? Therefore, I am interested in the relationship between Zhuang Zhou and butterflies, people and shadows. Human beings always think that we can control anything like a puppet, but what if we are not Zhuang Zhou, but a butterfly? Are we the controller or the controlled?

In this project, I've use butterflies as a metaphor to explore human self-identity. I've mainly started with the butterfly element and explored the pattern with the characteristics and structures of different kinds of butterflies.
