Flower & Plastic explores the severe impact of plastic pollution on nature. When the environment is reduced to nothing but plastic waste, where will flowers go? And where will humanity find its place?

In this piece, flowers are imprinted onto paper through hammer printing, allowing their pigments to gradually fade over time. In contrast, the plastic elements are preserved using cyanotype printing, a photographic technique known for its longevity. This juxtaposition symbolises the everlasting nature of plastic, creating a stark and thought-provoking contrast.
