Original Machines

Zhe Xiao

Original Machines is a branding and visual identity design project for a virtual exhibition. It simulates the look of AI-generated systems through human-made disruption. Typography is deconstructed into abstract, modular forms—letters stretched, fragmented, and misaligned to mimic algorithmic error. Visual interference and data-like patterns evoke a corrupted digital surface. At its core, only three glyphs remain: H, N, A:Human, Not AI.What looks automated is built with intent. This system reclaims creative control in an age of generative aesthetics, turning machine language against itself.
