Yuwen Huang (b. 1999, China) is an artist based in London. In 2022, she entered the University of the Arts London to study illustration and currently resides in London.

Often rich in detail and emotion, Yuwen's work endeavours to resonate with the audience by utilising printmaking techniques that blend metaphorical forms with abstract atmospheres and creating images that penetrate the mind.

This project explores walking on Hampstead Heath, capturing and imagining

the sensory experience of the sounds, smells and touch of the grassland.

Walking is a way of experiencing the environment as a whole and

understanding the relationship between oneself and others/space through

movement.

Developed through a series of experiments, testing and obtaining visual

images and imagery that respond to the sensory qualities of the landscape,

it creates a new space that combines a series of stuff presented under the

concept of 'layer'.
