YUWEN HUANG

This project explores walking on Hampstead Heath, capturing and imagining

the sensory experience of the sounds, smells and touch of the grassland.

Walking is a way of experiencing the environment as a whole and

understanding the relationship between oneself and others/space through

movement.

Developed through a series of experiments, testing and obtaining visual

images and imagery that respond to the sensory qualities of the landscape,

it creates a new space that combines a series of stuff presented under the

concept of 'layer'.
