I've created an artwork exploring my fascination with genetic inheritance and mutation. However, as the project developed, I delved into the darker history of how individuals with unique genetic traits, often referred to as 'freaks,' were mistreated in circus environments. These individuals were exhibited as delicate novelties or mere decorations, their humanity overshadowed by their visual differences. My prints aim to highlight this troubling dichotomy, emphasizing how their personalities and individual stories were ignored, unseen behind their physical appearances. Through this work, I hope to shed light on the importance of recognizing the full humanity of those who have been marginalized and objectified.

Final work

A etching printwork about Josephine Myrtle Corbin, tho its an ghost print, but that excatly exolained my statement.
A etching printwork about Fedor Jeftichew — “Jo-Jo The Dog-Faced Boy”
