Fed by the Motherboard investigates “algorithmic hunger,” framing platforms as digestive systems that metabolise human attention, cognition, and emotion into digital nutrients. Data is ingested, fragmented, and assimilated to sustain algorithmic optimisation and feedback loops.
Through speculative organs—the tongue, intestine, and brain—the project visualises how intimacy is seduced, fragmented, and reassembled within machinic infrastructures. By staging this cycle of nourishment and dependency, the work critiques the illusion of algorithmic intimacy.
It reveals how subjectivity is continuously reconfigured, generating hybrid organisms that blur the boundaries between flesh and machine.
