My work explores a girl’s fragmented memories and emotions perceived through her mind that are painful, unstable, and blurred. Through an immersive installation incorporating video, I aim to give tangible form to these emotional states, inviting viewers to reflect on their own hidden memories and psychological landscapes. I am particularly interested in how distorted space and mixed media can express emotional tension, anxiety, and internal conflict. This project also examines how sudden events, such as the 2008 Sichuan earthquake, leave invisible yet enduring imprints on our perception of reality.

Final work

Endless Reverberation

This is a cohesive installation piece that uses space, video, and mixed media to create an immersive psychological experience.

Detail

Since my work combines installation and video, the physical, in-person viewing experience offers a much deeper impact. In the physical space can viewers fully engage with the subtle shifts, emotional tension, and atmospheric layering that the work intends to convey. The digital version cannot fully replicate this sensory immersion.

Video part1（main）

This video represents the core of the girl's memories—unstable and fragmented—serving as a direct expression of her emotional state.

Video part2

The video serves as the origin point of the entire installation, depicting the initial emergence of an invisible force—an abstract eruption that symbolizes disruption and emotional awakening. As the narrative unfolds, this force gradually intertwines with the girl’s inner world, reflecting the merging of external chaos with her personal emotional landscape.
