Floating Territory, 2025. Bamboo and silk with digital prints, 70 x 70 x 70 cm

Floating Territory is a spatial installation that envisions a circle of equals, where species coexist without hierarchy.

Informed by the Buddhist principle of symbiosis, this work resists anthropocentric order and embraces a dehierarchized interspecies imagination. The visual language draws inspiration from Dunhuang aesthetics—its flowing lines, celestial geometry, and layered ornamentation—evoking a spiritual harmony and hope of coexistence.
