Project Concept

This project aims to create a de-symbolized, decentralized healing space rooted in the aesthetics of Dreamcore and nostalgia. By constructing a virtual immersive environment centered on childhood memories, the project seeks to evoke emotional resonance and offer psychological relief for teenagers suffering from anxiety, depression, and emotional fatigue induced by social media addiction and feedback-driven behavioral cycles.

Background & Intention

As someone who has grown up in the digital age, I have personally experienced how social media algorithms and dopamine feedback loops gradually erode our sense of self, emotional stability, and mental resilience. In such moments of emotional vulnerability, many people—myself included—yearn for a “spiritual refuge”, a space that offers comfort through sensory engagement and shared emotional experience.

This project was born from that need: to reclaim emotional security through collective memory, and to design a space that resonates with the warmth of the past while functioning as a community-based therapeutic experience. By allowing participants to co-create and co-experience this virtual nostalgic world, the project decentralizes authorship and transforms memory into a tool for emotional healing and digital-age introspection.
