This art installation explores the emotional and physical toll of job-seeking stress through a deeply symbolic and interactive experience. Inspired by the Chinese metaphor "牛马" (bull and horse), often used to describe tireless labor and sacrifice in the workplace, the piece transforms a hybrid bull-horse robot into a powerful representation of perseverance under pressure. As participants submit resumes, the robot gradually loses real human hair, symbolizing the depletion of vitality and identity caused by relentless stress and societal expectations. This visual and participatory metaphor invites viewers to reflect on the personal and cultural impacts of modern job-seeking, fostering empathy and dialogue around workplace struggles and emotional resilience.
