In this project, I approached stress in human relationships as noise. Initially, I considered the overlapping of skin during sexual intercourse as a prime example of this noise. However, I later focused on a traditional Japanese children's game called "Oshikura Manju," where children join hands. Inspired by the way their hands connect, I explored the friction between their skin and attempted to visualize the release of serotonin during this friction. These ideas took shape during the process of making pants. In contrast, for the top, I candidly expressed the notion of generating noise through this project. Additionally, the experience of accidentally stepping on a snail during the project left a lasting impression, with the sound becoming the most significant noise. Yet, it made me realize that merely coexisting with snails, uncertain of when they might be killed, was stressful. While this project primarily focused on stress received from others, it also allowed me to discover further battles within myself.
