College Chelsea College of Arts Course BA (Hons) Product and Furniture Design Graduation year 2025 Cook With is the proposal for a food service that focuses on intergenerational connections. It was inspired by my longing for home-cooked meals, especially those from my grandparents. Cook With allows users to cook alongside grandparents from all over the world. For example, if you are craving Italian cuisine, you can cook with a Nonna from any Italian region. Once the user chooses the area, they will receive digital information kits and videos. They will also have the option to connect with the individual online, allowing them to chat and cook together. The primary goal of the initiative is to reimagine how we view societal norms around longer, healthier lives. The new approach envisions a world in which there is no bias in hiring practices and where individuals are encouraged to continue working in ways that suit them, regardless of age or health status. We aim to create the best possible environment by focusing on hiring older people. It also aims to promote a healthier lifestyle to younger individuals by connecting them with better nutritional habits. Therefore, our kits focus on the freshest, most sustainable produce. The service combines design practice and food to foster these meaningful connections.
