Parents should care for their children, but what if this “care” becomes crazy?

It will become a doorknob lock that has been removed, a room with a camera

installed, or clothes that are restricted to wear. Their crazy desire for control

exposes their desperation, dependence, and their children’s helplessness. Out

ward appearance and secret control this light tells a story of this situation.

General introduction

This is my final product, which is a lamp controlled by magnetic switch. I want to show the phenomenon

that parents have a strong desire to control their children through this lamp.

that children are very sad about this situation.

Function and interactivity

In order to re-emphasize the strong desire of parents to control. I made the following design:

Regarding the choice of patterns, I first looked up some photos of clothes that my parents were not satisfied with on China social software.

Through investigation, I found that the

clothes that most parents object to are

cooler clothes, with exaggerated lace,

which can't cover the stomach and arms

well.

Research and process

Finally, in order to unify, on the front, the lower part of my lamp, I intend to use the same method as the face production.

Back pattern making

When thinking about the method of making the back pattern, I finally chose the method of metal etching. Because I made a metal fan in this way in unit 2, and the effect is very beautiful. So in unit 3, I decided to continue to use this technology.
