"hidden daughter" refers to the daughter in a "son preference" family. In this kind of family, the daughter is always neglected and even becomes the springboard for the son's success, without her own independent personality. This project reflects on these neglected daughters from multiple aspects, and criticizes this social phenomenon. I symbolized this "son preference" behavior through the plate, and compared the "hidden daughter" to the food on the plate, which was swallowed and digested in this family environment.
