Darkerrorcore

Summary

Final work

I am a fashion designer who focuses on conceptual and visual expression, transforming cultural symbols and historical elements into impactful contemporary designs. My work often centers around dark aesthetics, exploring the boundaries and tensions of identity, class, and visual language through fabric selection, silhouette research, and 3D cutting. I believe that clothing is more than just something we wear—it is a medium for storytelling and a reflection of our connection to time and society.

Course BA (Hons) Bespoke Tailoring

Graduation year 2025

My graduation project is centered around the concept of “Darkerocore,” exploring the visual and cultural possibilities of dark core aesthetics. Through elements such as Gothic style, Baroque court silhouettes, and early European aristocratic menswear, I studied the visual tension and cultural collision within fashion design. By using handmade lace, dark jacquard, and other fabrics, I expressed class contrasts within the historical context. Inspired by the style of designer Ann Demeulemeester, I conducted design development and 3D cutting experiments, ultimately completing a cohesive and visually impactful collection.
