Echoes of Polarity is a modular jewellery collection with magnetism at its core which, includes earrings, bracelets, and rings.

Each piece is based upon a spherical shape, the surface divided asymmetrically by ‘magnetic field’ lines. Every sphere can be freely disassembled and recombined through the magnetic connections, enhancing interactivity and sense of fun.

Using 3D printing, the surface texture simulates the flow of magnetic field lines, combined with a gradient effect to create a lively visual impact. By transforming physical forces, integrating toy logic, and using sustainable materials, the collection offers a wearable experience that blends scientific aesthetics with emotional connection

Inspired by childhood curiosity about magnetism, the project responds to modern demands for individual expression and emotional healing, giving jewellery a new playful and exploratory meaning.

Final work

  • A set of disassembled and assembled combination diagrams (including cuffs and ear clips)
  • A picture of someone wearing a colourful gradient cuff and two rings.
  • A set of sphere splitting modules (including ring faces and cuff faces)
  • Front and back sides of the sphere assembly
  • A set of spherical split modules + accessories (including rings and cuffs)
  • A pair of colour gradient rings (assembled and disassembled images)
  • A pair of colour gradient ear clips (assembled and disassembled images)
