This is a work-in progress animation project.
A story about the journey of twin sisters living in the underworld: Kiki and Kai. A quarrel sets them on diverging paths toward freedom. Kiki chooses death as liberation, while Kai insists to bring her kin back through reincarnations. As Kai explores the realm, she discovers her own meaning of freedom.
This project extends from my research on Doppelgänger on screen as a contemporary response to artistic idealism and existential crisis. Drawing upon the mythological structures of Orpheus and Eurydice and Apollo and Daphne, it transforms classical motifs into an intimate story—an internal dialogue on freedom and existence. Above all, it stands as a personal challenge and creative ambition.
