College Chelsea College of Arts Course Graduate Diploma Graphic Design Graduation year 2025 This project critically examines the impact of ChatGPT on designers’ creative autonomy. Drawing visual inspiration from the Book of Kells, the narrative unfolds in a symbolic ‘Digital Dark Age.’ It follows a designer who, in pursuit of public approval, gradually alters their work under the influence of an AI-like authoritative figure. Through rich visual metaphors, the project reveals how reliance on AI can undermine originality, creativity, and personal expression in artistic practice.
