Summary

Final work

College Chelsea College of Arts

Course Graduate Diploma Fine Art

Graduation year 2025

In this work I have used the traditional Chinese Herzhe technique of fish skin garment making to process the skins. Combined with my personal explorations, I made these fish skin soft toys using the skin of a sea bass.

There's not really anything too grandiose about this work, but a very creepy mapping of childhood, where the things that accompany us as we grow up are transformed into different substances with different images, thus providing a special sense of resonance.
