# Project Description Carnival in London Vittoria CMP Summary Final work College Camberwell College of Arts Course MA Illustration Graduation year 2023 What if travelling across the city was actually fun? Carnival in London is a toy theatre in the form of a book to cut out and build, which imagines an alternative reality where monotonous and dull commuting is transformed into a fun, upbeat carnival party. Complete with instructions, 2 different sets, and appropriate characters, the theatre puts on stage some key moments of commuting on public transports in London reinvented as carnivalesque events. Placing itself in the context of paper engineering, the final outcome is a 44 pages A4 book, printed on 200gsm paper. The publication is directed towards kids and adults who want to engage with creative activities together, but also simply adults, for them to rediscover their inner child and spark a bit of magic in their - sometimes too serious - ordinary lives.
