Course MA Fine Art: Painting

Graduation year 2026

The Spaces Between was a Group show of MA Painting students from UAL Camberwell College of Arts: Alice Payen, Urvi Keny, Gabriel Pek, Maddie Hill, Loretta Yussuff and Annabel Coekin.

From sun-drenched pools, to London’s bustling streets, or even a stranger’s bed, this exhibition will focus on the intricate connections between people. We will contemplate their surroundings, and how they navigate through these very contrasting environments. Both the portrayal of intimate, cherished moments of solitude and the collective energies of shared spaces, will highlight the multifarious nature of the human experience.

Through the interweaving of these themes, the exhibition aims to be a space of dialogue and connection, encouraging visitors to reflect on what it means to belong, connect and navigate through the tension and harmony of human experiences. We aim to stage an open tour and discussion of the exhibition, to give our audience the opportunity to voice their thoughts and connect with the show and its work in a more meaningful manner.
