According to Mind-body’s 2023 Wellness Index Report , 65 percent of consumers believe that beauty and grooming are important parts of wellness. We are the skin care range which will tackle time poverty and promote inclusive wellness practices. Time poverty refers to the subjective chronic experience of having too many things to do and not enough time to do them in. While this can affect everyone, both rich and poor, time poverty is mostly associated with people living in poverty who often engage in long hours of low-paid or unpaid work which deprives them of many opportunities and deteriorates their health. Furthermore, women are much more highly susceptible to time poverty than men due to the heavy and disproportionate responsibilities that relate to caregiving (e.g., childcare) and domestic activities (e.g., cooking, cleaning). Due to time poverty women and specifically women of colour often have to think about their wellness last. They are also expected to put everyone’s needs above their own. We are a London based inclusive skin care range & beauty-tech brand which promotes inclusive wellness and wellbeing practices; the overall goal is to help our customers engage in more mindful beauty practices using AI; tech is the tool, beauty is the canvas of possibility and wellness is the message. We want to give women their time back to remind them to take time for themselves. Our aim is to create beautiful and innovative beauty products that help people - women and women of colour - in particular prioritise their everyday wellness routine.
