Vicki Li Yi Mai

This project explores care, silence, and neighbourly connection, focusing on the emotional labour of domestic caregiving. Rooted in personal and cultural experiences of inherited care, especially for ageing parents, I examine how care is often unseen, yet all consuming.

Using data storytelling, I translate caregiver narratives into digital-physical bouquets. Each flower visualises lived emotion, time, and responsibility. CarePop invites reflection, empathy, and everyday acts of connection through gesture and design.
