Veronika Yatskova

This project is about how memories shift over time,  how we don’t always remember things the way they actually happened, but how they felt. Nothing but a trace became my way of capturing those blurry, emotional moments. Some are real, some imagined, but all of them are shaped by feelings.

I used photography, layering, editing, handwriting, and mixed media to play with texture, softness, and distortion. I wanted each page to feel like a memory — sometimes fragile, sometimes unclear, but meaningful.

From early test shoots to the final zine, it’s really a personal journey of experimenting visually and trying to show how I process the past.
