# Project Description Healing with Urban Valerie Tse Summary Final work College School of Pre-Degree Studies Course UAL Foundation Diploma in Art and Design Graduation year 2025 Final work Healing with Urban “Bridging between the past and the present”, this utopian cityscape aims to bring generations together. This project was first inspired to recreate my father’s childhood home, which evolved into an immersive landscape that connects both of us. Research into Chinese traditional architecture like the structure of Chongqing’s Hongya Cave and Hong Kong culture, such as the bamboo scaffolding, this project displays a combination of historical and modern elements. The final piece was made using bamboo, plastic flowers (made by my father’s company) and LED lights. Traditional bamboo weaving and flower arrangements bring the piece to life.
