# Project Description Collaborative project Summary Final work 3 Contributors College London College of Communication Course BA (Hons) Sound Arts Graduation year 2023 It is a 2D puzzle game with mechanics based on gravity balls and sounds based on the Chinese pentatonic scale and Chinese instruments. In this game, the player controls the direction of the ball by controlling the rotation of the platform and in the process, the player is given a Chinese rhythmic melody. Based on a random sound effect mechanism, the player can listen to a different melody each time. The level design is based on the 24 solar terms. The 24 solar terms, the oldest traditional culture in China, distinguishes between seasons and climate changes. There are 19 levels throughout the game. The first three levels are instructional levels, after which each level becomes progressively more difficult. The last level combines the six winter solar terms into one level, which is the game's final challenge. In terms of content, this game relates to children left behind. Parents working abroad have left the girl back home in the countryside, where she plays marbles in loose clothing in an open space. The marbles in the levels are like this girl, who has overcome many difficulties, traversed the seasons, and reached the end of the line, finally waiting for her parents back home on New Year's Eve. The designers added other elements, such as Chinese paper cutting and Chinese mythology, to the level design to make the game more interesting.
