Final work

Tze Wei is a London-based illustrator and artist from Malaysia. Drawing from her multicultural background and personal experiences, she often explores cultural identity through a documentary approach. An artist’s experience of being lost in self-discovery — and the unexpected joy she found along the way.

The Journey of Being Lost is a film that connects with audiences who experience insecurities, uncertainties and self-doubts – especially young artists who are going through similar challenges. It encourages the audience to embrace fears of the unknown, recognising that uncertainty can lead to both challenges and valuable discoveries.

This project is also a way for me to document and reflect on my own journey as an illustrator. The project focuses on the process of making, where I expanded my interest in ceramics by exploring different techniques and knowledge about ceramics.
