'Offstage' explores how publication design can highlight the importance of open mic and jam spaces, as third spaces (community-driven environments that exist outside of home and work), and their role in fostering community. The aim is to make them more accessible by humanising the space and its community. 'Offstage' features film stills, photography, interview transcripts from hosts and regulars, and quotes that are hand stamped in wood type, to translate the intangible nuances that occur here. No two copies are exactly the same, just as no 2 performances or spaces are ever identical.
