Boss Performance is a multi media project about cars, changing political infrastructure and absence, named after a now empty car dealership in Bury, Lancashire.

I wanted to relay the sadness I have associated with the changes and increased hostilities in my childhood area, as well as the beauty and tenderness of the place that has held me down forever. Surveillance and encroaching building work make existence here feel powerless at times and this has resulted in the mental decline of many people close to me as well as myself, I wanted to capture the moments that offer a drive towards excitement - drive being an important word, because a car is protective armour in the winter night time.
