Summary

Final work

I'm on my way from a background as a public space artist to designer.

I specialize in exploring spaces with the body. Concerned with how traces record individual and group memories in time and space. Looking forward to connecting with people who are also interested！

Graduation year 2024

This project delved into how traces in rented spaces record individual and group memories in time and space, and how these traces constantly shift through factors such as culture, gender, and identity relations. Rental houses are no longer simply places of survival, but complex vehicles for recording and displaying individual trajectories, social interactions, and cultural practices.

This project uncovers layers of memory and identity that are often invisible in more permanent environments by examining the traces left behind by tenants, such as household objects, spatial layouts, and even the inheritance of movement.

Final work

A space that is constantly rewritten

The temporary nature of rental space allows it to carry the multi-layered histories of various occupants, making it fertile ground for exploring the interactions between the individual and the collective.

Echoes in the rental house

These rental spaces are active agents in constructing collective memory, which is why I see the rental house as a place of memory. They are like archives of personal life experiences, silently recording the lived experiences of countless individuals over time.
