This project explores the emotional weight of my mother tongue — Georgian — through fragmented childhood memory and poetic reconstruction. A cut-up poem recurs across two videos and a performance, reflecting on themes of homesickness, nostalgia, and cultural identity. The text remains deliberately untranslated so the viewer experiences the language viscerally—through its rhythm, gestures, and essence. The decision to fragment the poem stems from the same intention: to create a shared experience where both Georgian and English speaking audiences engage with the language beyond direct meaning.
