Heartfelt Greenery is a levitating interactive plant system designed for people who struggle to care for plants or connect with nature in daily life. Using a magnetic suspension base, it elevates a real plant while monitoring environmental factors such as humidity, light, and temperature via built-in sensors. An OLED screen visualizes the plant’s “emotional” status in real time—dryness, stress, or comfort—offering intuitive, ambient feedback. The device responds to human presence through gesture detection and subtle movement, shifting the user’s role from controller to companion. By combining environmental sensing, biofeedback, and poetic motion, the project reimagines human–plant relationships as mutual and affective. It bridges digital interaction and living systems to foster empathy, responsibility, and a more tangible sense of coexistence.
Final work

Heartfelt Greenery
Heartfelt Greenery is an interactive levitating plant device. It translates real-time environmental data—like humidity, temperature, light, and soil moisture—into intuitive feedback through a floating plant system. Rather than automating plant care, the aim is to encourage slower, more mindful interaction, fostering empathy between humans and non-verbal life forms. It’s built on ESP32 and Arduino microcontrollers and envisions applications in emotional well-being and ecological awareness.
