This project comes from a place of love and is acting as a love letter to the women in my life, a sculpture of a fictional goddess and her steed marching through the exhibition space. Gytha, as I have affectionately dubbed her, is a goddess of protection for women, specifically the women in my life a strong and scary symbol of divine protection for the equally strong and scary women in my life. her chariot is led by her steed, an effigy of a stag named Herewulf.
