Size Flexible Elegant Wear - SURVIVAL & RESILIENCE

Tanya Gautami

Summary

Final work

I’m Tanya Gautami, a fashion designer currently studying Fashion Design and Development at London College of Fashion. My practice is rooted in the belief that design should be adaptable, inclusive, and deeply connected to the natural world. I approach fashion as a responsive, evolving language—one that communicates comfort, intention, and individuality.

Guided by organic forms and sustainable thinking, my work explores the possibilities of size-flexible garments that move and change with the body. I’m drawn to textures, layers, and construction methods that honor both function and fluidity. For me, design is a space where empathy meets innovation—where materials and shapes are carefully chosen to support real people and their lived experiences.

Every collection I create is an invitation: to feel, to adapt, and to belong.

' This collection is a reflection of my core design philosophy: “Take control of your garment, not the garment take control of you.” Rooted in nature, resilience, and timeless elegance, each look is designed to move with the wearer—offering size flexibility, comfort, and quiet confidence that adapts to the rhythms of everyday life.

Inspired by the organic adaptability found in the natural world, the collection blends soft structures, reclaimed materials, and flowing silhouettes that celebrate both the body and the planet. The designs echo timeless trends reinterpreted through a modern, conscious lens—pieces that transcend seasons while remaining deeply personal and wearable.

This three-look story honors the earth while empowering women to take control of their garments and feel beautiful in their skin. With understated sophistication and thoughtful functionality, the collection offers a wardrobe made for every body, every day, and every season—where style meets sustainability, and elegance never expires.
