Final work

I am a student progressing to Central Saint Martins Fine Art.  Within my current art practice, I am exploring modern softwares like TouchDesigner to create interactive spaces to invoke an immersive experience for the audience. Whether they interpret it as I intend, I enjoy building a connection with the viewer as an art practitioner. I am also curious about worldbuilding using suspended, translucent objects and utilising light refraction to create imagery.

My work seeks to investigate digital interactive world-building and controlling one's narrative. Made with TouchDesigner, 'control.ur.f%te' is incomplete without the audience — you are a participant who can change the visuals to your will, rather than just a passive observer. Ultimately, the presented liminal atmosphere aims to encourage the audience to be in the present and be aware of their movements to malleate the smoke, a metaphor of themselves.
