River Lantern Festival is a romantic festival in many Asian countries. People use river lamps to express missing their deceased relatives. However, the existing river lamps on the market are difficult to degrade and recycle, causing harm to both fish and rivers, so many places have canceled the festival. I hope to make this activity popular again by designing a river lamp that is friendly to underwater life. Therefore, the materials I finally chose to make the river lamp are all edible materials, of which gelatine is the most important ingredient. In order to make this product more interesting, my final product not only included the river lamp made by myself, but also designed DIY kits for customer to make lanterns by themselves.
