Visually, the project centers on the dual themes of “gathering” and “ritual.” Techniques such as wrapping, layering, tearing, and piecing are employed to convey the dynamic interplay between destruction and regeneration. The palette—comprising black, grey, khaki, red, green, and metallic tones—reflects themes of oppression, sacrifice, earthliness, and sanctity. Material choices include handmade latex, reclaimed textiles, and repurposed swatches, alongside lace, snakeskin textures, and metallic surfaces. These elements create tactile contrasts that reference folk magic, bodily memory, and the ancient language of craft.
