Summary

Final work

I am an optimistic person who loves beautiful things and enjoys exploring interesting ideas. I like to try different approaches and incorporate a variety of materials into my work. Color also plays a vital role in my creations—I believe that color is powerful and full of life. For me, using color is like telling an emotional story or expressing inner feelings. It is an essential part of my work. Rather than focusing solely on completing a piece, I find more joy in the creative process itself. Each project feels like a unique journey.

Graduation year 2025

“Tan Hua” slowly explores a romantic garden, drawing inspiration from films, painters, museums, social spaces, and design sketches related to gardens. Step by step, different patterns, materials, and color combinations are developed. The work incorporates embroidery and beading, creating a rich, healing, and joyful visual experience. Most of the pieces are made using dead stock yarn, as I believe that reducing dead stock materials can also reduce waste. I also hope that my creations can bring healing to those who experience them.
