College London College of Fashion Course MA Fashion Media and Communication Graduation year 2025 In an era of saturated visual culture, "beauty" operates less as a sensory experience than as a coded and consumable force. Within Asian contexts, ideal of female beauty are produced through the interplay of capital, culture and algorithmic mediation. Commissioned by the Asian Feminist Studio for Art and Research, this 3 minute experimental video explores the gaze and counter-gaze of Asian female beauty.
