# Project Description Womenswear Portfolio | Shuwen Song Shuwen Song Summary Final work Shuwen Song is a womenswear designer whose work integrates fashion with emotional storytelling, social observation, and psychological reflection. She transforms personal experiences—especially those seen as uncomfortable or imperfect—into conceptual garments that evoke softness, complexity, and resonance. College London College of Fashion Course BA (Hons) Fashion Design Technology: Womenswear Graduation year 2025 This portfolio presents three conceptual projects by Shuwen Song, exploring emotional memory, social perception, and symbolic transformation through womenswear design, fashion image, and fashion film. A Silver Distance (FMP) investigates emotional endurance and identity through sculptural womenswear forms and poetic materiality. Falling Tide is a fashion image project reflecting on body perception and psychological resilience through symbolic styling and AI-generated visuals. Rubik’s Cube Mansion is a fashion film using surreal storytelling to explore gender roles, childhood memory, and social conditioning. Bridging physical craftsmanship and digital media, the work navigates emotional landscapes through fashion as a storytelling medium. Final work “A Silver Distance” | FMP「LCF BA Womenswear」 Fashion Film This fashion film is part of my Final Major Project (FMP), A Silver Distance — a conceptual womenswear collection that explores emotional absorption as a survival mechanism. The video blends visual poetry and gestural performance to reflect the project’s emotional core: vulnerability, memory, and subtle resistance. Filmed as an atmospheric interpretation rather than a literal documentation of the garments, the work embodies psychological transformation through fashion.
