In this collaboration with Leporem by Vita, I approached the photography from two distinct directions. One series was shot in the studio, focusing on motion capture to express the structural logic and internal rhythm of the garments; the other was photographed outdoors, exploring how the collection resonates with natural elements—light, wind, and landscape.

I. Studio: The Language of Movement and Structure

The collection draws inspiration from "Kendo," emphasizing both strength and restraint. In the studio shoot, I concentrated on the expressive potential of the moving body. Using slow shutter speeds, motion blur, and continuous shooting, I captured the precise yet fluid moments where the garments respond to and interact with the body in motion. The unfolding, constriction, and release of fabric became central visual narratives.

Lighting was intentionally stark—sharp-edged and directional—to highlight the sculptural quality of the silhouettes. Within the blurs of movement, I sought to retain a sense of mental focus and spiritual tension. This series aims to communicate that clothing is not merely a shell for the body, but a visual extension of inner force—an architecture of flow and discipline.

II. Outdoors: A Silent Dialogue Between Garment and Nature

The second series was photographed in a natural setting, where I placed the garments within a broader and quieter spatial context—among trees, rocks, wind, and shifting light. The spirit of Kendo is not only about combat, but also about presence, breath, and silence. Within nature, the clothing took on a different character—softer, yet no less powerful. Here, masculinity is expressed not through assertion, but through calm endurance and poised stillness.

I explored how fabric moved with the wind, how light traced over wool, and how the human form stood against the scale of the landscape. Each image seeks to express a state of “relaxed strength”—a masculine presence in tune with the rhythms of the natural world.

Through these two photographic approaches, I aimed to create a visual equilibrium: between control and freedom, structure and spirit, space and the body. Together, they reflect the multidimensional essence of Leporem by Vita's Autumn/Winter 2025 collection.
