I am exploring the feelings and emotions connected with the topic of Death. With a focus on textiles. I studied textile artists to look at the different dyes and techniques used and attempted to combine that with death that occurs in different forms with the use of these materials, I noticed how audiences expressions changed based on textures, colours and forms, I tried to expand on these and combine them together to make what I would try to describe as the texture of death.

Textures of death
Sculpture of body made from metal wire, wrapped with acrylic red yarn and natural dyed yarn and fabric (dyed with a combination of turmeric, onion skins and avocado peels).
