Hiya!

I'm Selasie Agbogla, a Swiss-born Ghanaian thas is enamored with Cosmetic. Here's my porfolio of my MSc Report in 2025. Thank you for taking time to dwelve into the multifaceted world of the cosmetic industry. My social media are linked in case anyone would like to discuss :)!

During my last year of university, I worked on a perfumery masters' project from september 2024 till may 2025. From the project selection to the final testing analysis, this was one of the most challenging times of my life. I'm very proud of the growth I've had whilst doing this so here's a glimpse of the laboratory work perspective. Enjoy learning how some cosmetics are made

This study confirmed that colour–odour interaction is a context-sensitive phenomenon driven by semantic alignment, molecular structure, and perceptual dominance. Yellow enhanced perceived intensity in EM-dominant blends, while black consistently suppressed it, supporting crossmodal congruency theory. This research has practical value: visual cues can be strategically used to enhance consumer experience and potentially reduce fragrance concentration in cosmetic products. By applying this approach to complex aromatic systems – final fragrance blend, new strategies to optimise perceptual intensity whilst reducing fragrance load through visual modulation. This supports both innovation and sustainability in cosmetic product development and fragrance design.
