My project 'Ghosts of Youth' explores my personal experience of needing to fulfill pre-existing standards and how feelings like "fear of failure" and "fear of judgement" are visually seen outside the body. This project will be developed based on personal experience growing up with constant comparison and competition with other kids my age. Since A very young age I have had this deep rooted fear of doing anything that might disappoint my mother, and the fear of not being able to pay back for all the efforts and time she has put into me. This fear used to manifest in different ways right from my actions to my thinking patterns. My aim during this project is to make use of it to reflect back on my childhood and how it has shaped me into the person I am today and how it has impacted my thought process, behavior and my actions in general.

Final work
