The rice flower collection tells the story of my family’s history, and embraces unique parts of India’s history through fashion aesthetics and traditional artisanal crafts. India’s connection to tennis goes back to the colonial period when the Europeans built tennis courts; Indian workers would learn the sport, and once the Europeans left then turned many of these tennis courts into sothen social clubs.
